Word Equations
I just spent ages trying to figure out a simple way to convert equations made in Word 2007 into image files (just in case I ever need to), and as far as I can tell, there is only one simple way to do this.
The equation editor itself seems to be missing an export button, if you attempt to publish the document to a blog instead, it seems to completely ignore the equation, and a quick search on Google didn't appear to give me any easy way of doing it either!
Then it dawned on me to try the "Save as web page" feature in Word. Unsurprisingly this saved the equation as both a png and a gif, so if I'd just tried this a little earlier, I'd have saved myself a bit of time and frustration. Nevermind….
